UPI Pictures of the Year 2013 -- NEWS AND FEATURES

The first U.S. version of the 40-foot-tall rubber duck takes it's place in the Pittsburgh skyline at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers that becomes the Ohio River on September, 28, 2013. The Rubber Duck Project is the creation of artist Florentijun Hofman of the Netherlands and is part of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust International Festivals of First. UPI/Archie Carpenter
